After School Specialized Programs for Special Needs
Inspire Studios programs (Music, theater, and homeschool) are all inclusive. However, we have also created programs specifically designed for children with special needs. Musical Wellness instructors, Cristine and Jason Rhodes have joined talents and expertise to bring you this musical opportunity.
The Inspire Foundation's FREE Saturday
The Inspire Foundation sponsors two free music classes on the third Saturday of the month (bi-monthly). Autism Sings at 11 am (early learning) and Drums In Motion at 11:30 am (ages 7- teen). Each of these classes are 30 minutes long. Only the first 15 applicants will be accepted for each class. Siblings are welcome to join the fun. This class takes place at our Lutz location and must have a minimum of ten kids.
Autism Sings (Group Class) Early Learning
This program was designed for children with autism and all other pervasive developmental disorders (PDD). Each class will explore instruments like piano, drums, violin, trumpet and more.
Drums In Motion
Autism Movement Therapy (Fall of 2019) Ages 10 and up
Inspire Studios is pleased to announce our certification in Autism Movement Therapy (AMT). AMT is a combination of movement, music, and sensory integration to increase communication between both sides of the brain. Parents and siblings are encouraged to participate in the classes. Classes are approximately 30 minutes long and have limited spots available. AMT classes are taught by a certified Autism Music Therapy instructor.
Music4You (Individual) All Ages (Private Music Lessons)
This music program is for those with special needs who would prefer to learn individually. Each session is 30 minutes on piano, keyboard, drums, guitar, bass guitar, cello, violin, ukulele, or voice. You can choose just one instrument or spend time on many different instruments. If you desire, you will also have the opportunity to learn the basics of rhythm, music and movement, and the art of performing live. Every eight weeks you will have the opportunity to perform on stage.
