Economics (1/2 Credit) |
PERT Test Prep |
Economics is the study of how societies use limited resources to satisfy their unlimited wants and needs. It is the foundation of this course as students learn how decisions about the four factors of production–land, labor, capital, and entrepreneurship–are made. Key topics covered include: law of supply and demand; saving, borrowing, and spending; the Federal Reserve System and the money supply; and the role of government in an open market economy.
|
The PERT is intended to assess your readiness for college-level coursework. While it is not a college-entrance exam, its purpose is to determine whether or not you have sufficient command of basic math, reading and writing to successfully complete freshman-level core courses.
|

Psychology (1/2 Credit) |
The Geometry course is a comprehensive look at the study of geometric concepts including the basic elements of geometry, proofs, parallel and perpendicular lines, the coordinate plane, triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, circles, trigonometry, congruence and similarity, surface area, volume and transformations.
