Specialized Programs for Children with Special Needs
Inspire Studios programs (music, theatre, and homeschool) are all inclusive. However, we have also created programs specifically designed for children with special needs. Musical Wellness instructors, Cristine and Jason Rhodes have joined talents and expertise to bring you this musical opportunity.
Music4You (Individual) All Ages
This music program is for those with special needs who would prefer to learn individually. Each session is 30 minutes on piano, keyboard, drums, guitar, bass guitar, cello, violin, ukulele, or voice. You can choose just one instrument or spend time on many different instruments. If you desire, you will also have the opportunity to learn the basics of rhythm, music and movement, and the art of performing live. During the school year we host our 'Student Spotlight' concerts. This allows our students to showcase what they have been working on with their teacher and has become a fun, family event for all to enjoy!
Bucket Drums In Motion
In this inclusive class, we will have fun learning basic beats while using drumsticks, exercise balls, and other rhythm instruments, all while getting a good workout. This class works on fine motor skills and bilateral coordination while actively following directions as an individual and as part of a group. Cardio has never been this much fun! Thanks to a grant The Inspire Foundation received from the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce, this class if free for children with special needs. ). Only the first 15 applicants will be accepted for each class. Siblings are welcome to join the fun.
Autism Sings (ages 2-6)
This interactive, hands-on course will encourage your child’s natural interest in music and arts. Your child will learn the basics of music, explore each instrument family, express themselves through music and movement, and experience the art of live performance.
