​Music & Arts Ages 2 - 6

This interactive, hands-on course will encourage your child’s natural interest in music and arts. Your child will learn the basics of music, explore each instrument family, express themselves through music and movement, and experience the art of live performance. This class is ongoing allowing children to join at anytime. Throughout the year the children have the opportunity to perform for families and friends. This class takes place September - May on Tuesdays at 11:30 and is limited to ten kids.
  • ​The correct way to sit or stand when playing instruments
  • The difference between high and low in music (pitch)
  • The difference between soft and loud music (dynamics)
  • The difference between music and noise
  • Instrument families 
  • The basics of fast and slow (tempo)
  • Long and short sounds (The introduction to the value of notes)
  • Dancing, instrument interaction, singing, and storytelling with drum circles
  • Visualizing the story an orchestra plays through instruments
  • Echoing simple rhythmic patterns
  • Performing individually and as a group
Monthly: $45 per program, per child ​

    Please fill out a registration form for each child. Thanks!
    Policy
    Please give us notice if your child must miss a lesson or class. We will make sure to catch your child up and get them any missed materials. Please don't bring your child if they're sick. If a teacher is sick and we can't replace them with a substitute, we will do our best to schedule a makeup lesson or class. 

    Tuition is due: on the 1st of each month. All payments are non refundable. There are no additional charges for months with 5 lessons and there is no reduction in tuition for lessons missed or for holidays. Thanks!
